Symposium Participation Opportunity for Graduate Students

The conveners of Jackman Humanities Institute-supported symposium and concert seek six advanced graduate students to serve as discussion facilitators following paper presentations. The symposium comprises three sessions of two papers each; discussion facilitators will introduce speakers, conduct time-keeping during the talks, and prepare two questions each to open the Q&A period following each panel. Discussion facilitators will have access to notes on the presentations in advance of the symposium. Discussion facilitators would join presenters for a post-event/pre-concert dinner after the symposium. Interested individuals should briefly describe their relevant background and interest in a particular session via email by December 18.
